Dioskouri café-restaurant is an iconic coffee and mezé place in the old center of Athens. After 30 years in Adrianou’s pedestrian street it has become a part of the old city. So its new interior needed a fresh design approach but without losing its typical Greek tavern essence. The main features of the project are the straw woven panels on the bar taken from the classic tavern’s chair and the pale blue metallic construction. The bar, the wine cabinet and the ceiling lighting was custom-made with local craftsmen on site.
